Dance Film: A Home within a Home 2022 Create ProgramWe’ve had a near 15-year relationship with this Youth Arts Project of San Diego County. So, when Covid hit, they weren’t going to be able to provide their students with their annual live theatrical event. So, they turned to emota for help. Together we conceived, designed and safely filmed a moving film over an hour long. Alsong with the dances and Zoom interviews, this would serve as a viable substitute. Not only were the students thrilled and feeling more confident in the outcome, but the non-profit was able to leverage the asset over the year with engagements with donors as well as different school systems that were actively closed and meeting online - giving them a perfect showcase for recruitment once the pandemic restrictions were lifted.
